Men's cargo pants, Chile model in "streetwear" version

Cargo pants represent the origin and soul of the company and encapsulate the history and experimentation of Mason's. They are pants and bermuda shorts that hark back to military-inspired garments with multifunctional pockets and accessories. Today, this garment is sophisticated, pure, technological, and trendy, featuring camouflage patterns or solid colors with soft washes. It has become Mason's most beloved and sought-after item, one that transcends seasons and becomes a faithful travel companion.

For the presentation of cargo pants, Chile model, Mason's chose one of the most scenic landscapes in the city of Carrara: Cava Gioia.

Cava Gioia and Kobra's David

Cava Cima di Gioia, belonging to the stone company Gualtiero Corsi, is located at approximately 850 meters above sea level, marking the border between the cities of Carrara and Massa within the splendid setting of the Apuane Alps. From this quarry, some of the world's most prestigious and famous marbles are extracted, perfectly suited for architecture and interior design. In the past, Carrara marble was highly appreciated by renowned Italian artists such as Michelangelo and Canova, who chose this stone as their preferred material for their major works of art.

The most widely known Carrara marble statue is undoubtedly Michelangelo's David. It is a grand, impeccable work masterfully crafted, expressing an unimaginable strength and power, concealing within something gentle, delicate, and beautiful.

In this incredible natural scenery of the Apuan Alps in Carrara, in 2017, Eduardo Kobra, a famous Brazilian street artist, depicted his version of Michelangelo's David on the highest wall of the quarry. The artwork stands 12 meters tall and 10 meters wide, and the Brazilian artist spent approximately a month working on it, climbing the white wall every day. Kobra's version of David is an explosion of colors with a strong visual impact, a laborious but extraordinary result. In a sense, this experience was like bringing David back to the Carrara marble quarry from which he originated.
